Olympia, Tumwater & Lacey
My husband and I moved from Pennsylvania to Olympia in 1976. Initially we thought we would live in Seattle but Barney was offered a good job in Olympia so we moved there. We immediately fell in love with the location. It showcased the gorgeous Puget Sound, spectacular Mt. Rainier in view, an active downtown, cultural opportunities, beaches, lakes, swimming, cross-country skiing, and mountain climbing. I continued my teaching career and we were all set to begin our new life. Enjoy these pictures from the place we call home.
